Application of Hollow Glass Microsphere in Thermal Insulation paints

Thermal insulation paints is a kind of paints which mixed with Hollow Glass Microsphere and other fillers to reflect the sunlight to achieve the purpose of heat insulation.

Hollow Glass Microsphere is hollow spherical shape with thin air inside. The excellent thermal conductivity（0.0382～0.0910W/m.k） makes the coating has a very good thermal insulation effect. If paints mixed with Hollow Glass Microsphere, high reflection can be achieved for infrared rays within 400nm～2500nm. In this way, heat of the sunlight cannot accumulate on the surface of the object and the heat radiation function of Hollow Glass Microsphere can radiate the heat on the surface of the object to the air to lower the temperature of the object. Hollow Glass Microsphere is the key to produce high-quality thermal insulation paints.   

At present, Thermal insulation paints mixed with Hollow Glass Microsphere is not only used in military and aerospace equipment, but also more widely used in oil pipelines, storage tanks, communication base stations, large storage granaries and other industries.
